About APG >> 4th ASEAN Para Games

In 2008, Singapore will be sending 57 athletes to participate in 8 sports, a huge increase as compared to previous years. This strongly implies the significant leap in standards of local disabled athletes and their potential.

Dates and Location
The 4th ASEAN Para Games will be held from 17 to 27 Jan 2008, at Nakhon Ratchasima (Korat), Thailand.

“FRIENDSHIP, EQUALITY, OPPORTUNITY ”

Objectives
a. To promote friendship and solidarity among persons with disabilities in the Asean Region through sports
b. To promote and develop sports for the differently abled
c. To rehabilitate and integrate persons with disability into mainstream society through sports.
